We no longer have the Homestead available for Guests as its needed for staff accommodation. However, from Spring 2020 we will have the Clyde Hut /Lodge available as an exclusive off-the grid holiday spot to groups who will also be booking a wagon ride back at the station. The hut sleeps up to 30 people so is ideal for large groups. The Clyde Hut is in a magic spot beside the Clyde River looking up into the mountains and glaciers. Hut is an understatement as it’s a large, warm 4 bedroom outfit and the only hardship is going outside to the loos.  The hut is only ten minutes from the homestead as the crow flies but it feels very remote and is a very comfortable solution in an extremely beautiful mountain spot.

The homestead is completely off the grid but with a large gas oven, tables & large lounge it is perfect for special family occasions. The Hut has no power but is wired for lighting if you want to bring your own generator & fuel to plug in. Otherwise bring lanterns but we do hope to set up solar lighting for the future. The hut is insulated and has double glazing and a powerful log burner to keep it toasty. The beds have a cover sheet and pillow but you need to bring your own linen or sleeping bag. The hut is $500 per night (up to 20 people, additional people $15pp). Weekends & Holidays have a minimum stay of 2 nights. Check in from 3pm and Check out by 11am. Please note there is no bathroom just outside doc style toilets and an outdoor sink.

We have great pleasure sharing the station with visitors but please note  that Erewhon is still a working station; therefore it can be noisy & us awfully busy as we carry on with our day to day farm and life activities. The homestead is used for shearers/extra farm staff at peak times like our musters etc. These events are weather/river dependant and we may have to move a booking as the farming operation takes priority. Please leave the hut tidy and take your Rubbish & Recycling with you.
