Erewhon is the perfect day trip for large bus groups, cruise ships, family/club/group/work outings, reunions etc wanting a unique trip into the high country of NZ. It’s a fantastic drive into the station and once at the station we can take you on a wagon ride, demonstrate the horses working ground. Shearing etc permitting groups are welcome to use the woolshed to have lunch a cup of tea. We don’t provide food but you are welcome to BYO and we can provide a BBQ & Urn. Teacups, Plates, Utensils etc. can be organised as an extra. The woolshed isn’t the warmest building so dress appropriately. The woolshed has a series of interesting photos/displays and is a great base for a crowd. Our two off road wagons drawn by 6 horse teams can seat 28 people for the scenic hour loop. Groups over this size we prefer to do a shorter half hour ride on the flat paddocks plus a demonstration of the 6 horse team working ground beside the woolshed. We have lots of flexibility to work out a great day trip for up to 100 people at Erewhon so don’t hesitate to contact us for a plan.
